Our Guiding Principles
What we stand for and what guides our work.
Careful and responsible management of resources entrusted to our care.
Respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life.
A state in which life outcomes are no longer predictable by factors including race/ethnicity, immigration status, gender or gender identity, age, class, or sexual orientation.
The fundamental right and ability of people to shape their own lives and the freedom to live well.
Active, authentic connection in pursuit of the common good
Our Definition of Poverty
Poverty transcends a lack of income, and is the combination of systemic forces that deprive individuals from meeting basic needs because quality food, housing, education, healthcare, and other social determinants of health are not equally accessible.
