Missouri Poverty Report

March 11, 2021

The 2020 Missouri Poverty Report, from the Missouri Community Action Network, pulls together data about poverty from many trusted sources alongside information about factors pushing people into poverty. The report also includes information about programs, policies, and initiatives keeping people out of poverty.  This report is published every two years, so although this edition does not yet take into account the disparities that the COVID-19 has both highlighted and exacerbated, it features a comprehensive resource for learning about and understanding the issues that contribute to poverty. That’s everything from economic and family security, education, food and nutrition, health, and housing and energy, most of which are broken down by County.  We hope you will find this report to be an informative and useful tool in understanding and explaining the various aspects of poverty that impact the communities you serve.
