Telling the Stories of Older Adults During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As America begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are reminded of the profound impact that the virus and the social isolation that it necessitated had on older adults.  The Catholic Health Association recently held a webinar series titled “Old Age- Our Future” based on the Vatican document released in February 2021 titled “Old Age: Our Future.  The Elderly After the Pandemic.”  This series included two videos highlighting the experiences of older adults during the pandemic (5 min. video), and highlights one of Marillac Mission Fund’s grantees, Cardinal Ritter Senior Services (5 min. video),  and how they cared for older adults throughout the past year.  ​​​​​​
