Human Trafficking Awareness Month and Needs Assessment Report

December 19, 2019

In preparation for Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January, Marillac Mission Fund is sharing a study that provides a clearer picture for how human trafficking manifests in our state and bi-state region, as well as what needs still exist for victims and providers that serve them.

For nearly two years, Marillac Mission Fund has been involved in a funder collaborative to address human trafficking in Missouri and the Metro East St. Louis region, called the Missouri Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (MCAHT).  One result of this collaboration is a needs assessment lead by researchers Andrea Nichols, Ph.D. and Kathleen Preble, MSW, Ph.D.: “Human Trafficking in Missouri and Metro East St. Louis: Provider Based Needs Assessment and Demographic Snapshot.”
